An Hour of Peace

Some days, an hour of peace is the greatest victory we can hope for.
Reflections
This short poem about finding peace reminds us that we don’t have to fight every battle today. Giving ourselves permission to rest can itself be a victory. Setting our burdens down, even for a little while, is an accomplishment. We can decide that we have done enough for now and allow ourselves to let go. An hour of peace does not mean our struggles are over, but it can renew our strength to face them again.
Question for you
What helps you find an hour of peace?
Affirmation
I have done what I can for today. I give myself an hour of peace.
