A Diet of Kindness

Not everything we consume comes on a plate.
What we see and hear can either nourish us or harm us.
Reflections
A Diet of Kindness is a short poem for mental well-being. It grew out of the idea that what we repeatedly see, hear, and absorb has a way of shaping us. The world can be loud, harsh, and relentless, so there is real value in intentionally choosing gentle sounds, words, and images that leave us calmer, kinder, and more hopeful. This may include music, books, articles, films, conversations, or even the people with whom we spend time.
Question for you
What are you feeding your mind each day—and is it helping you become who you want to be?
Affirmation
I take time to feed my mind with words and images that are kind, beautiful, and hopeful.
